Hello everyone, I’m Jacob, and welcome to The Airfryer Guide. Courtney and I live in West Michigan with our many animals (horses, dogs, and cats…oh my!)
Since I was old enough to stand on a stool and watch my mother prepare our family meals and desserts, I have been interested in cooking. I used to be so amazed at how she could take the most simple ingredients like flour, eggs, a little vanilla, a pinch of salt, and a bag of chocolate chips and make something so delicious as a warm chocolate chip cookie!
I still experience that kind of joy every time I make something from scratch, and I think part of the magic of cooking is that your cooking style is often a reflection of your loved one’s past (and those before them). In that way, we all keep our cooking traditions alive, and create new one’s to pass on.
A Little Background on Our Cooking Experience
I started cooking in my early teens. My family was your typical Midwest meat and potatoes style people, so I made a lot of casseroles, pastas, burgers, and meat dishes. We did not have many herbs, spices, or seasonings around, so most of my dishes were pretty bland…but most definitely hardy! That was until…
I met my beautiful and long time partner in crime while working at a restaurant where I was cooking and she was a server. Courtney and her mom loved to cook with a lot of spice. She is never shy to try a new recipe or order a dish neither of us can pronounce!
I’ve broadened my cooking horizons quite a bit since we met many years ago, and I can say without exaggeration that my Airfryers (we have two, and there is an article to explain why) have allowed me to cook almost anything better, faster, and in most cases, healthier than I ever have without them.
The Goal of This Site
Throughout this site you will find many articles featuring reviews, comparisons, and even a few cherished recipes of Courtney’s and mine. I want to share all of the experience that I’ve gathered while cooking with my Air Fryers with you, with the end goal that you will be confident and well-informed if you do decide to purchase an Airfryer for your kitchen.
There will be secure links provided on this site to reputable dealers where you can purchase an Airfryer (or two)!
There are many different brands, at different price ranges, and even different kinds of Airfryers, but have no fear, we’re going to
cover it all here at The Airfryer Guide. So, grab a glass of wine (or a beer) and make yourself at home.
I truly hope that you will find the information here useful. If you have any questions at all, please feel free to contact us
at firstname.lastname@example.org , and you will receive a timely response by Courtney or myself.
All the best to you, my new friend – Jacob and Courtney.
